What is the initial investment that is required?

You can open a typical Bennigan's restaurant with a range of investment between $1,181,300 and $2,208,750. Any purchase of real estate would be an additional investment. As in any business system that is as widespread as Bennigan's, the area, real estate lease values, size of the restaurants, leasehold improvements to an existing building, and other variables account for the varying range of investment.

Is Financing Available?

Bennigan's does not offer direct or indirect financing, nor does Bennigan's guarantee your notes, leases or other obligations. Obtaining financing for your Bennigan's restaurant is one of the steps that you will be required to complete. Bennigan's has qualified personnel that may be able to assist you in locating various lenders who may be interested in funding Bennigan's projects. Bennigan's is also on the list of Preferred Franchisors with the Small Business Administration.

Will Bennigan's provide assistance for the selection of real estate?

Location is a very important factor in the success of your Bennigan's franchise. While we do not select a site for you, we provide guidelines to assist you in finding an ideal location. A traditional location should fit certain criteria, but you are not limited to only these criteria. Some non-traditional locations are also acceptable.

Does Bennigan's provide its franchisees with a protected territory?

Absolutely. Bennigan's is one of only a few franchisors that provide each restaurant with a protected 1-mile radius around your Bennigan's Restaurant, in which other Bennigan's locations may not be developed. Additionally, depending upon the number of Bennigan's Restaurants you will be developing, you will receive an additional protected territory during the development stage of your business.

Are franchisees required to have restaurant background?

No. There are many successful Bennigan's owners from a variety of professional backgrounds. However, you will be required to have an experienced and qualified operator.

Will I be able to speak with existing Bennigan's franchisees?
